Last week MVA held their annual All-Employee Meeting. In years past, this meeting was hosted in the McMinnville community center. Games were played, pizza consumed, raffels and door prizes given out, and lots of laughter, a few tears, and lots of celebratory clapping her had by all. It is one of the few times a year that we are able to get almost all of our employees in one room, and we’ve got the pics to prove it!
This year, like just about everything, this annul tradition looked different. While we still met with as many staff as could make it, the icebreaker game was a hoot, and we all went away with candy and gift cards, we did not meet in person. We met virtually, courtesy of our old buddy Zoom.
It was different, but it was still good!
Like years in the past, this meeting featured a guest speaker who gave us all a timely and much-welcomed message. Tammy Eck, webinar leader extraordinaire spoke to us about resiliency. She reminded us that we have all demonstrated profound resiliency through the last year and that it is okay for that resiliency to look different during different seasons. I think she gave all of us a little piece of wisdom to take away and ponder.
We Celebrated!
Every year we celebrate the milestone anniversaries or our dedicated team. This year we had some whoppers!
And finally, we did still take out all employee photos! It looks different, some have likened it to the old Brady Bunch intro, and we are a-okay with that! I hope you enjoy seeing these faces as much as we do!
Please note that this is not our whole team. Some of our team was working, and other joined without their cameras on. But we know everyone was with us in spirit! And we look forward to the day we can all be in the same room together again.
